Ekaterina MISHCHENCHUK – violino
Born in 1976.
Studied at the musical lyceum under the Belarusian State Conservatory in the class of violin (pedagogues T. Gurina, E. Kuchinski, Y. Yordanova) since 1986. Studied at the Central musical school under the Moscow State Conservatory in the class of pedagogue Y. Yordanova since 1992. While studying there, she was invited by a concertmaster of the International Children Symphonic Orchestra (conductor – professor of the Moscow State Conservatory L. Nikolaev).
Since 1995 studied at the Russian Academy of Music named after the Gnesins in the class of assistant professors M. Gostdiner and A. Adzhemova. During the study, she worked in the chamber orchestra “Leonardo” (conductor – professor G. Sharov).
In 2000 started working in the Russian State Academic Chamber Vivaldi Orchestra headed by people’s artist of Russia S. Bezrodnaya. As a part of this collective, she also had numerous records.
Since 2000 she was on assistant probation at the chamber ensemble department in the class of professor T. Tarnavskaya. Taking part in the 1st International Chamber Ensemble Competition named after S. Taneev, she became a laureate and received two special prizes: a diploma, a memorable medal and a special I. Arhipova prize, as well as a special “Moscow Debut” prize of the State Institute of Art History of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs of the Russian Federation.
In 2003 she joined the Russian Symphony Orchestra the New Russia (art director and conductor – people’s artist of Russia Y. Bashmet).
Since 2006 she has been working in the “Classic-Avantgarde” soloist ensemble.

Aliaksiej FRALOU – fagotto
Born in 1974.
Graduated the Belarusian State Academy of Music – in 1997 as a fagotto soloist in the class of full professor Vladimir Budkevich and as a conductor in the class of assistant professor Boris Chudakov. Took a Master degree in Art in 1998. Finished a post-graduate school at the department of Musical Pedagogics of the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 2003. He was on probation in the Institute of Musicology of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland, 2002) and took a master-course in the class of professor Vladimir Apatski (fagot) in the National Music Academy of Ukraine (2003 and 2007).
A. Fralou is the only Belarusian fagotto soloist who won prize places in international competitions in Western Europe. He is the third prize laureate in the soloist category of the 7th International Contemporary Chamber Music Competition in Krakow (Poland 2003), the third prize winner in the fagotto rank of the International Woodwind Competition “Pacem in Terris” in Bayreuth (Germany, 1998), a laureate of the International competition among wooden wind instrument performers “Minsk-1994” and the first prize winner of the All-Union Competition (Russia, Voronezh, 1991).
A. Fralou joined “Classic-Avantgarde” in 1996 as a soloist and also became a lecturer-presenter of concerts of the Ensemble. He is an initiator and a mastermind of some new projects of the Ensemble.
In 2001 A. Fralou initiated creation of trio “Origins” (flute, fagotto, piano).
A. Fralou is also engaged in teaching, research and methodical work. He is a senior teacher in the Belarusian State Academy of Music, an author of methodical developments for musical high schools of Belarus, of scientific articles in encyclopedias and musicological journals.

2006 – a winner of the Dmitry Beda International Competition in Lvov (Ukraine).
Since 2006 – a post-graduate student in the Belarusian State Academy of Music.
